Dennis Fischer
Certified Prosthetist, Licensed Orthotist

After returning from the Vietnam War, Dennis enrolled in a program called “Project Transition” and received specialized training in prosthetics. He completed his education and received his degrees in prosthetics and orthotics from the Northwestern University Medical School and the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine. He has been an ABC certified prosthetist since 1980 and is licensed by the State of Texas. Today, he has over 36 years experience as a prosthetist/orthotist.  He joined Central Prosthetics and Orthotics in 1995.

Chris Reiff
Certified Prosthetist

Chris has over twenty-three years experience as a prosthetist.  She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Southern Illinois University –Edwardsville and   certificate in prosthetics from Northwestern University in Chicago. She has been an American Board Certified Prosthetist since 1989 and is licensed by the State of Texas. She spent over nine years treating children at Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children in St. Louis and eight years with Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Prior to joining our firm in 2007, she owned Jubilee Prosthetics in Springfield, Missouri.  Chris is certified in the Otto Bock C-Leg and myoelectric upper extremity limbs and has extensive experience working with children and adults.

Greg Fariss
Certified Orthotist

Greg has over twenty years of experience as an orthotist.  He is native of Waco, Texas and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Allied Health Sciences School. Greg has been an American Board Certified Orthotist since 1991 and is licensed by the State of Texas. He has five years of specialized experience in pediatric orthotics with Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, two years as an instructor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and twelve years as primary orthotist for Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas.  Greg joined Central Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2008.

John Brinkley
Diplomate Ocularist, Certified Dental Technician

John graduated from both North Central Texas College and the U.S. Army’s Academy of Health Sciences. John is an Ocularist and a Diplomate of the American Society of Ocularists. He is also a certified Dental Technician. He has worked for 25 years in the custom fabrication of removable and fixed facial and dental prostheses orthodontic appliances and maxillofacial prosthetics. He was with Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas for 12 years

Rosie Hernandez
Certified Pedorthist, Certified Fitter-Orthotics

Rosie obtained her pedorthic certification from the University of Oklahoma. She has over ten years of experience in the prosthetic and orthotic field as well as twenty years in other areas of the medical industry. In addition, she is a Certified Orthotic Fitter and is the office manager for Central Prosthetics and Orthotics.
